SIERRA LEONE - Rabboni Ministries International

Last year (in 2019), I became the President of Rabboni Missions International.

We want to first and foremost send our greetings and sincere appreciation to Pastor Jack Hanes and to the Imagine Nations family. Pastor Jack has been a very good friend to Late Pastor Gregory Bangura, the former President of our Mission. Through their relationship, Imagine Nations has opened their heart to West Africa, and more specifically to this small nation called Sierra Leone.

After 14 years of mission work in Ivory Coast, we felt that the Lord wanted us to move here. The country was just recovering from a very devastating civil war. Families were scattered, a lot of people had been killed, many orphans, drug addicted youth who had been used as children soldiers, many single and teen mothers, a lot of amputees, hungering much more. Sierra Leone is a spiritually sick Muslim country in distress. Foundations of righteousness and justice destroyed, and many other things which are the result of such a war.

Through all this, we saw a sign of the Lord and an opportunity to serve, a door to help and bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost and the least.

We started the work and we needed help: children needed to be fed, sent back to schools, drinking water to be provided in communities, churches to be planted to bring the Gospel to the people.

We did all we could at our level, but there was always more to be done. We dug wells in various villages and towns called "wells of salvation", we provided the drinking water, we helped many to receive medical care, we are able to train church planters, empower pastors who are already serving, distributing Bibles, serving our communities in times of crisis (ebola, corona virus...)

Imagine Nations family came on board and helped us year after year to train church planters and send them to effectively plant the churches. It was with a great joy that we received a medical team of 8 members

in March 2019 (precious ladies who left their families to come and bless the less privileged), led by Pastor Neralie Clark, for a love medical outreach, and the wonderful team went into a village to visit one of the churches planted by Imagine Nations in Sierra Leone.

Through Imagine Nations, we were also blessed to buy motorbikes to send church planters to go and spread the Gospel in villages where cars cannot go. Unfortunately we lost our beloved Pastor Gregory

in January last year, but the work still continues and Imagine Nations still stands with us. In the last academic year, we received from Imagine Nations support to enable children to go to school.

It is my pleasure to let you know that you have supported us greatly in this work. Your generosity is doing a work that you don't even imagine.

We want to thank God for Imagine Nations family and Pastor Jack. May God remember you and may you know that your reward will also be found through the work your funds are supporting in West Africa.
