ISRAEL - Ha Tikva Dental
HaTikva Project is an Israeli ministry which exists to see the Israeli Body of Messiah built up and to serve needy Israelis in the name of Yeshua as we fulfill His commandment to “love your neighbour as yourself.”
We love to find unique ways to be a part of the prophetic restoration of our nation and of the salvation of the Jewish people.
Our ministry finds expression through three main categories: Benevolence to Israeli believers in acute crisis; Provision of dental care to underserved Israelis, and support of adoption and foster care processes. Each of these areas provide us unique access to multiple sectors of Israeli society allowing us to show love to many hurting Israelis and to do so in the name of Jesus.
2020 has been a most unusual year for all of us
but we can confidently say that we have seen the faithfulness of God through out all the challenges and that our reach and impact in our nation have actually increased.
In our HaTikva Aid department we are consistently meeting needs. One of these examples is how we provided financial support to an Ashkelon single mother of three with serious health problems caring for one of her children at home following a serious accident leading to a coma.
HaTikva Dental treats thousands of patients a year who have no other way to afford dental care. This makes a huge impact on those we treat:
My name is Sarah, a resident of Haifa. I’m 84 years old.
In Dec of 2018 I got a warm recommendation from a neighbor about a dental clinic that treats holocaust survivors for free.
With the clinic being located outside of Haifa I was unsure if I should travel that far and if the treatment would be good.
Despite my advanced age, illness, and difficulty walking, I went to the clinic and to my great joy I discovered that I hadn’t made a mistake. From
the first moment I felt wrapped with warmth and understanding. The receptionist Anastasia took care to understand, help and schedule treatment times that worked for me. She allowed me to ask questions and was very empathetic.
I especially want to thank and express my appreciation for Dr. Kamal who with great understanding and patience treated me with unusual professionalism and care.
It’s moves me greatly to see that there are people who care for us holocaust survivors.
