Despite the challenges brought on by COVID in 2020 our support of church planting in Indonesia was still quite effective. Church planters who were already located in villages or towns were able to still reach out in their own local communities to establish new churches. One of the great blessings we were able to provide this year was three new church buildings in Indonesia. These new church buildings not only revitalise the local churches but the entire community. Each church was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to reach out and bless their communities in greater and greater ways. This year proved to be one of the most fruitful years ever in the radio ministry in Indonesia. Due to people being locked down or isolated in may cases the radio was peoples only form of contact with their outside world. More people than ever responded to the gospel and or prayer through th radio network. We have also been able to support the setup of a new station in Wamena, West Papua. By partnering with New Life Fellowship and the incredible work they do across the provinces, we are supporting the vital work of church planting and evangelistic outreach to see the Good News go to everyone, everywhere. This year, we were able to support the training of 25 new church planters; equipping them with the most effective strategies in establishing a new local church. We were also able to support 20 new pastors, who will begin the role of pastoring these new churches once they have been planted. While the restrictions due to the current pandemic have made the process a little more difficult, 42 new churches were able to be planted and established this year. We had also planned to financially support 3 crusades and 58 smaller outreaches, however, due to COVID-19 and the limitations on large gatherings, these were unable to be held. The Bible Society is working to see this changed, and aims to make the Word of God available in modern translations, so that it may be known, understood, and used in Israel and across the nations of the world. Our support of The Bible Society is helping to see the printing and distribution of Bible materials for both children and adults, so that they may hear the Gospel, be educated about Jesus Christ and come to know Him as their personal Lord and Saviour. Our faith promise giving also supports regular evangelistic outreaches, where the Good News is shared with those who are yet to hear. Due to the current global pandemic, adjustments have had to be made to ensure that restrictions are being followed for the continued safety of people. This is forcing mothers into the workforce at a fast pace, and their children in turn become victims. Our hope and prayer is to keep families together by providing them with a safe refuge during the day. Our goal is to keep children out of orphanages and off the streets, and bring them into the loving arms of Jesus Christ. By building a new home for a widow we help to restore these women and provide them with dignity, hope, peace, security, safety and we enable them to begin a new life by standing on their own two feet. The team in Vietnam, work with several local community leaders to identify areas requiring most significant development in the villages including access to education, clean water, and medical care. This year, we were able to provide water filtration equipment that has brought fresh, clean, and life-giving water to the people living in these villages. In Vietnam, the detection and treatment of heart conditions, particularly in children, is a crucial need. This year, we were able to provide heart screenings to detect heart and other health issues that require medical intervention for over 20,000 children living in rural areas. These wells are often strategically located, so that the local church can spread the message of the Gospel to unreached communities. Despite the challenges brought on by COVID in 2020 our support of church planting in Indonesia was still quite effective. Church planters who were already located in villages or towns were able to still reach out in their own local communities to establish new churches. One of the great blessings we were able to provide this year was three new church buildings in Indonesia. These new church buildings not only revitalise the local churches but the entire community. Each church was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to reach out and bless their communities in greater and greater ways. This year proved to be one of the most fruitful years ever in the radio ministry in Indonesia. Due to people being locked down or isolated in may cases the radio was peoples only form of contact with their outside world. More people than ever responded to the gospel and or prayer through th radio network. We have also been able to support the setup of a new station in Wamena, West Papua. By partnering with New Life Fellowship and the incredible work they do across the provinces, we are supporting the vital work of church planting and evangelistic outreach to see the Good News go to everyone, everywhere. This year, we were able to support the training of 25 new church planters; equipping them with the most effective strategies in establishing a new local church. We were also able to support 20 new pastors, who will begin the role of pastoring these new churches once they have been planted. While the restrictions due to the current pandemic have made the process a little more difficult, 42 new churches were able to be planted and established this year. We had also planned to financially support 3 crusades and 58 smaller outreaches, however, due to COVID-19 and the limitations on large gatherings, these were unable to be held. The Bible Society is working to see this changed, and aims to make the Word of God available in modern translations, so that it may be known, understood, and used in Israel and across the nations of the world. Our support of The Bible Society is helping to see the printing and distribution of Bible materials for both children and adults, so that they may hear the Gospel, be educated about Jesus Christ and come to know Him as their personal Lord and Saviour. Our faith promise giving also supports regular evangelistic outreaches, where the Good News is shared with those who are yet to hear. Due to the current global pandemic, adjustments have had to be made to ensure that restrictions are being followed for the continued safety of people. Prisoners in Kenya are often imprisoned unjustly, the judicial system is predicated on guilt and if someone is wrongly accused they can be sent to prison without trial and often simply forgotten.
